Chancellor of the Andhra
University

I am in receipt of your letter of 30th
October informing me that the Syndicate of the Andhra University has resolved to
present to me the “Cattamanchi Ramalinga Reddy National Prize” for this year. I
have received with much gratification your

offer of this distinction bestowed on me by your University and I am glad to
intimate to you my acceptance. I understand from what you say about Darshan that
you will personally come to Pondicherry for this purpose and I look forward with
much pleasure to seeing and meeting you.
